Fairweather Volcano Discovery
In June 2002, Fugro Pelagos provided multibeam bathymetric mapping
of the eastern Fairweather Grounds of Alaska for the Alaska Department
of Fish and Game, using proto-snippet processing of backscatter data.
An eroded volcanic cone was discovered. View imagery
Aleutians Volcano Mapped
